In the December issue of Human Magazine, SLOT Recursos Humanos consultants asked ‘But how can we communicate and relate in a world increasingly characterised by the advance of technology?’
And how can we allay the fears and uncertainties that our clients face every day in the face of highly digitalised recruitment and selection processes?
Our colleagues Clara Alves and Natália Pimenta talk to us about the symbiosis between technology and human relations.
For SLOT HR, the valorisation and use of technology does not replace the importance of close, human contact with candidates and clients. Despite the technological advances in recruitment, the company maintains regular and informal communication, fostering relationships based on trust and empathy. Clara Alves points out that the combination of specialised recruitment methods and human interaction is fundamental to identifying the best talent and matching it to the profile required by clients.
Digitalisation simplifies recruitment through online interviews and communication without geographical limitations, guaranteeing security and confidentiality with technologies such as blockchain. Natália Pimenta explains that while digitalisation optimises processes, reduces costs and speeds up assessments, it doesn't replace the essential human element. AI tools help with CV analysis and document validation, but behavioural assessment and the search for essential skills require the experience of consultants to ensure successful integration. In this way, digitalisation enriches the process while maintaining a balance between technology and human interaction.
